BarTite Washer Line Expansion
Wilmington, MA – Gaynor Industries is pleased to announce the expansion of its BarTite High Strength sealing washer line. The company has broadened its BarTite washers to include the 4-40, 5/8”, ¾”, 7/8” and 1” sizes. “Customer demand for both smaller and larger washers has driven our push to deepen our product offerings” according to Gaynor President Scott Fallavollita.
Designed to seal out moisture, vapors, liquids, chemicals, pressurized air, and other contaminants, the washers employ a proprietary, stable and non-aging plastisol sealant resistant to a wide range of liquids including petrochemicals, water, acids, solvents, hydrocarbons, and salt sprays.
A 360° impervious seal is achieved by applying torque, which sends the plastisol sealant flowing out in every direction and down into the threads. The sealant fills all potential leak paths to create a dynamic seal. BarTite sealing washers have a wide range of applications and are suitable for use in electrical enclosures, electronics, hydraulics, automotive technologies, communication equipment, and numerous other industrial and commercial applications where a tight seal is required.
