New Aremco-Bond 2210 High Strength Epoxy Make Repairs to 400 F

SUMMARY
Aremco-Bond(TM) 2210, a new high strength, aluminum and ceramic filled compound produced by Aremco Products, Inc., is now available for repairing corroded, aluminum mold and wear surfaces for applications to 400 °F (204 °C).

Aremco-Bond(TM) 2210 is a high strength, aluminum and ceramic filled compound that provides excellent abrasion, corrosion and impact resistance, and is ideal for repairing defects and corrosion pitting in aluminum molds and wear surfaces for applications to 400 °F (204 °C).

Aremco-Bond(TM)2210 provides high tensile shear strength of 2,600 psi and flexural strength of 14,100 psi, and exceptional chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, organic fluids, and salts. Electrical insulating properties include a dielectric strength of 420 volts/mil and volume resistivity of 1.0 x 1013.

Aremco-Bond(TM) 2210 is a gray-colored, 100% solids epoxy that is mixed in a 100-to-14 ratio of resin to hardener by weight. Curing occurs at room temperature in 24-48 hours or can be accelerated by heating to 200 °F for 4 hours. Cured product is machinable and exhibits a linear shrinkage of .005 in/in and Shore-D hardness of 89.

Aremco-Bond(TM) 2210 can also be used to bond a wide variety of metals, glass, and plastic substrates. It is supplied in easy to mix pint, quart and gallon kits.
