EVERLIGHT Electronics Introduces a New High-Speed 8-Pin SOP Logic Gate Optocoupler for Industrial Applications



15Mbps, 3.3V and 5V CMOS compatibility, high CMR, high isolation voltage



Shulin, New Taipei City – EVERLIGHT ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. (TSE:2393), a leading player in the global LED and optoelectronics industry, announces the introduction of a new single channel 8-pin SOP 3.3V 15MBit/s logic gate optocoupler for preferential use in industrial applications. The EL071L consists of an infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a CMOS detector IC.



An SMD device, it is packaged in a small outline 8-pin SOP for ease of use in designs with limited PCB real estate. Due to a fast data transmission rate of 15Mbps, the EL071L is perfectly suited for serial and field bus interface isolation in industrial applications, including data transmission for line receivers, data  multiplexing, switching power supplies, pulse transformer replacement, computer peripheral interface and high speed logic ground isolation.



Other important features include both 3.3V and 5V CMOS compatibility, a high CMR of more than 10,000 V/µs for higher/superior anti-interference, and 10kV/µs minimum common mode transient immunity. The guaranteed temperature operation performance ranges from -40 to 110°C. In addition, the EL071L also features a high isolation voltage between input and output of 3,750 Vrms.
