Encoder Operation To 30,000 RPM
The Industrial Encoder Division of BEI Sensors & Systems Company can now provide encoders with operation up to 30,000 rpm in an industry-standard 2.5" diameter H25(R) package. Until now, high speed encoder operation was only possible in encoder styles without bearings -restricted by their sensitivity to mounting conditions, low resolution and light duty construction. Utilizing special, high quality, pre-loaded, dual ABEC 7 bearing assemblies, the Model H25(R) incorporates the best features of a rugged, well-sealed industrial package into a high-speed device.
This design is ideally suited for use in machine tool applications where high spindle speeds translate to better surface finishes and fewer machine operations. Fast rotational speeds are also particularly critical for testing high speed motors and turbines. Having this high speed capability provides more choices for design engineers looking for ways to improve the operational speed of their designs without compromising on performance.
