High Resolution Columns are designed for organic GPC.

Press Release Summary:

PlusPore series columns, designed for high resolution organic gel permeation chromatography (GPC), are made using polymerization process to produce particles which exhibit specific, controlled pore structure. Multi-pore structures have pore volume compared to PS/DVB packing materials and offer chemical and physical stability. They permit transfer across full range of organic solvents with little change in shape of calibration curve or efficiency of columns.

New High Resolution Columns for Organic GPC - PlusPore

Polymer Laboratories has launched a new keynote range of columns specifically designed for high resolution organic GPC - the PlusPore series. The PlusPore series represents the very latest in GPC column technology; each is made using a novel polymerization process to produce particles which exhibit a specific, controlled pore structure for optimum GPC performance.

For high resolution polymer analysis, the PlusPore product range exhibits a wide pore size distribution with near linear calibration curves covering an extended molecular weight range. These 'multipore' structures have increased pore volume compared to regular PS/DVB packing materials. The PlusPore columns feature excellent chemical and physical stability and permit easy transfer across the full range of organic solvents with little change in the shape of the calibration curve or the efficiency of the columns. This 'multipore' column technology eliminates the need for the combination of individual pore size packings, and the result is high accuracy and precision without any artefacts in the shape of the molecular weight distribution.

The PlusPore series comprises PolyPore columns for the routine analysis of general polymers, ResiPore columns for the analysis of resins and condensation polymers, MesoPore columns for the analysis of prepolymers and low MW resins and OligoPore columns for the analysis of oligomeric samples.
