Dedicated Computing Introduces Fortis 7400 Server Series of Flexible, High-Density Systems for Computationally Intensive Applications

Waukesha, WI – Dedicated Computing, a global technology company, is pleased to announce the launch of its Fortris 7400 server series for computationally intensive applications. In a move to accelerate its campaign to support the high-performance computing market, these Application Ready Systems (ARS) integrate performance improvements in an array of configurations designed to fit the needs of a variety of industries.

The F7400 series is specifically designed for life sciences, training & simulation, and other computationally intensive applications, and comes with proactive monitoring and management capabilities built in. Each of the systems is equipped with a qualified embedded operating system for Windows or Linux, so customers’ applications are ready to be installed.  The F7400 series systems support multiple I/O cards, have flexible storage capabilities that allow for the addition of capacity to meet growth requirements, and are highly serviceable with fewer cables and a modular design, for lower cost of operation.

Keeping in mind the needs of professionals requiring industry-leading computational power, performance, and configuration flexibility, Dedicated Computing offers the F7441 as a tower or a 4U rack mount, the F7421 as a 2U rack mount, and the F7411 as a 1U rack mount form factor.  Each of the configurations leverages Intel’s® new Xeon® E5-2600 v3 family of processors.

“The addition of these systems is a testament to Dedicated Computing’s commitment to serving computationally intensive markets like life sciences and training & simulation,” said Bilal Khan, CTO, Dedicated Computing. “By leveraging our premier design engineering capabilities, we are able to sustain the pace of technology in these industries with Application Ready compute solutions that address their unique performance, flexibility, and space requirements.”
