Honeywell Introduces Second-Generation HID Work Lamps



Extended Duty, Four Lighting Options Offered

MINNEAPOLIS, June 11, 2007 - Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today debuted its second-generation HID Work Lamps. Featuring longer life and increased light output, these products are designed to stand up to the toughest environments and meet stringent OEM specifications.

The second-generation HID Work Lamps offer an extended product life of up to 5,000 hours depending on duty cycle. Long-life work lamps mean less vehicle down-time on the job site. The lights feature a highly efficient reflector to provide more light and an internal ballast for easy installation.

The new HID Work Lamps are available in both 12 and 24 volt DC in multiple light/optic patterns, including wide flood for wide, even light; narrow flood for narrower, more intense light; trapezoidal flood for slow-moving driving equipment; and spot light for narrow, focused light.

Potential applications may include heavy-duty construction and agricultural equipment.
