Cooper Crouse-Hinds® introduces the New HID Weatherproof Luminarea(TM) Series Luminaires
SYRACUSE, NY - Cooper Crouse-Hinds introduces another product family to the expanding line of Commercial Products. This latest series offers customers a complete line of weatherproof HID luminaires. The Luminarea(TM) Series includes a full range of luminaires from floodlights, wall packs and vandal resistant parking garage luminaires. These luminaires are suitable for indoor and outdoor installations in areas where general lighting is required.
The new series of luminaires are used where long life and low maintenance costs are desired. Housings are made from durable die cast aluminum for long product life, and finished with bronze epoxy powder coating for suitability in corrosive environments. The external hardware is made from stainless steel and all housings are NEMA 3R gasketed for trouble-free use in outdoor applications. The Luminarea Series is UL and cUL listed for wet locations. They are available in both High Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide versions, and come in a wide variety of wattages.
