PCB Piezotronics Introduces New 1200 °F (649 °C) Hi-Temp Accelerometer Ideally Suited for Flight Testing and Turbine Engine Test Cells



Depew, New York, USA - PCB Piezotronics, Inc., PCB Piezotronics, Inc. introduces Model 357C90 Hi-temperature, hermetically sealed accelerometer for engine turbine testing during flight test or in ground based test cells. Other applications include environmental chamber testing, or exhaust system vibration measurements on rocket or automotive engines up to 1200 °F (649 °C). The charge output unit features hi-temperature Inconel construction, sensitivity of 5 pC/g, measuring range to 1000 g's peak, frequency response of 2.5 kHz, and resonant frequency over 14 kHz.

The unit is supplied with an integral 10 foot (3 m) hi-temperature connecting cable, and is easily mounted via a thru-hole ¼-28 thread bolt. Additional products are available from PCB to complete the measurement system, such as Airborne amplifier Model 422M201 or in-line charge amplifier Series 422E30, and a supporting family of Series 482 ICP® power supplies.
