Heska Introduces the Dri-Chem 4000 Chemistry Analyzer
Heska and FUJIFILM in an Exclusive Arrangement
LOVELAND, Colo., Nov. 5 / -- Heska Corporation (NASDAQ:HSKA)("Heska"), a leading provider of advanced diagnostic and specialty products to veterinarians, today announced the introduction of the Heska(R) Dri-Chem 4000 Veterinary Clinical Chemistry Analyzer by FUJIFILM (the "Dri-Chem 4000"). The Dri-Chem 4000 is the latest in a series of new diagnostic instruments Heska has launched this year.
FUJIFILM Corporation ("FUJIFILM") has entered into an exclusive agreement to supply Heska with the Dri-Chem 4000 and affiliated consumables for the veterinary field in the North American market. Heska and FUJIFILM collaborated on the specifications and final development of the Dri-Chem 4000 system.
The Dri-Chem 4000 is a robust instrument that uses dry slide technology which has a long track record of proven performance. In addition to multiple test panels, the instrument has the flexibility to conduct individual tests. The Dri-Chem 4000 has a broader menu of tests available than Heska's previous chemistry instrument offering.
