Silicone-Free Filter Allows Paint to Adhere Properly
Hingham, MA, -PIAB Vacuum Conveyors, manufacturer of industrial vacuum conveyors and components, announces the availability of its Herding Filters, which are ideal for automotive manufacturing facilities. Made with absolutely no silicone, and textile free, PIAB's Herding Filters allow paint to adhere easily to the surface of a vehicle.
PIAB's vacuum conveyors are used to transmit powdered paint primer into large hoppers. From the hoppers, the powder is conveyed to the paint spray guns where it is then applied to the vehicle. The Herding Filters are an integral component to the vacuum conveyor, because they prevent dust and fine particles from being drawn into the vacuum pump and escaping into the surroundings. The residual powder that falls off of the vehicle's surface is than reclaimed by the PIAB vacuum conveyor
PIAB's Herding Filters comply with FDA, GMP, and 3-A requirements. The filters are recommended for powders with a particle size of .5 micron and greater, depending on powder properties. The sintered polyethylene body is coated with PTFE.
