"Microguard 99" Filters Are Engineered For Health Care, Pharma, Semiconductor, Nuclear Applications


Louisville, KY. January 5, 2004. Airguard now manufactures both HEPA and ULPA filters for environments with the most stringent air purity requirements, including health care, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, laboratory, chemical processing, aerospace, film processing and many others. Microguard 99 filters are available in 99.97%, 99.99% and 99.999% efficiencies on 0.3 microns. Standard capacity, and high capacity models are available.

A wide variety of cell side materials is offered, including, wood, steel and aluminum, with other options to meet specific operating conditions. Every Microguard filter is individually tested to assure rated performance.

Microguard 99 media is a high performing, continuous sheet that is subjected to eleven distinctive tests and inspection procedures. The media is wet laid paper, produced from microglass fibers; it is waterproof and heat-resistant to 1000°F. A channel design developed by Airguard optimizes media surface area and reduces the possibility of damage during handling. Corrugated aluminum separators allow maximum use of the media and the highest possible filter pack integrity.

Microguard 99 filters are classified U.L. Class 1, Class 2 and 586.
