Hemisphere GPS Announces New Features for Outback S2(TM) and eDriveTC(TM)

Calgary, AB - June 4, 2007 (TSX: HEM) Today, Hemisphere GPS proudly announced increased capability and functionality of two of their premier Outback Guidance® products, Outback S2 and eDrive®. Outback Guidance products focus on applying GPS technology to vehicle guidance, mapping, and precision application for ground agriculture.
Outback S2 is an easy-to-install, easy-to-use, low-cost guidance system featuring a robust differential GPS WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) receiver and Steering Guide(TM). It enables operators to drive rows, with minimal overlap and without skipped areas, achieving major cost savings in fuel, fertilizer, and virtually all other production input costs. Through its newly enhanced v6.0 software, Outback S2 has three new guidance modes including circular/pivot patterns, an A+ feature for setting the heading angle, and an option to update the B point within the A-B guideline. The Outback S2 won a FinOvation Award from the Farm Industry News, earlier this year. The FinOvation Award recognizes the most innovative new products from the past year, and Hemisphere GPS was the only GPS company to be honored.
Outback eDriveTC GPS assisted steering system extends the functionality of the Outback S2. Once eDriveTC is engaged, it uses GPS technology to automatically steer the tractor. As a result it provides more uniform treatments, extends hours of operation, and requires less driver skill. Not only does eDriveTC steer more accurately than humanly possible, it now includes the Tilt Compensation (TC) feature. Tilt Compensation corrects for GPS position errors caused when driving on slopes in the terrain. This compensation is essential for precision applications.
Outback S2 v6.0 and eDriveTC combined with BaselineHD provide centimeter-level accuracy. With BaseLineHD, the minimum guidance speed has now been lowered to 0.25 mph and the elevation is available as an option on the Outback S2 display screen.
Outback S2 now ships with v6.0 software as a standard feature. Current Outback S2 owners can download a free copy of the v6.0 software on the Support page of the Hemisphere GPS website at www.hemispheregps.com. Also, eDriveTC comes standard with Tilt Compensation. Current eDrive owners can upgrade to eDriveTC for a nominal charge.
