Ilient Introduces: SysAid 4.5 - Next Gen Help Desk Software Combining IT Monitoring Module

TEL AVIV, Israel, July 12 -- Ilient (http://www.ilient.com/) has formally launched yesterday SysAid 4.5.The new release is an advanced version of SysAid - offering a unique combination of help desk and network assets monitoring.

This newly developed SysAid module, monitors servers and an unlimited number of other network assets, and sends alerts via email or SMS on every outage, error, memory use, hard disk failure, new software or hardware installation and more.

Using SysAid version 4.5 IT managers in small to medium companies can have access to the same integrated IT tools reserved so far to big corporations. With SysAid IT departments can significantly improve service quality while reducing TOC (Total Ownership Cost) of their system at the same time.

Since the monitoring module is integrated within a full-featured help desk system, SysAid users get the unique benefit of being able to track each error and follow its handling. In case the thresholds for a pre-defined warning or an error are met, SysAid is able to open an automatic ticket with an appropriate notification. This ticket is then queued alone with the other tickets arriving at the helpdesk according to its priority. It can even be routed to the responsible administrator or admin group.

In addition, unlike the monitoring tools applicable for servers only, SysAid monitoring tool can be applied also to workstations. This provides administrators with the opportunity to check for changes in the hardware and software of the workstations, and be aware when an unwanted or dangerous software or hardware are installed.

Ilient Founder and CEO, Israel Lifshitz says:

"We were looking for new ways to help IT administrators in the 25,000 organizations worldwide that we serve. The positive feedback we get from our longtime customers reinforces SysAid's strategy - to provide a simple yet advanced all-in-one solution.

The Monitoring module is also included in SysAid's free version - http://www.ilient.com/freeware.htm
