Grand Rapids, MI - June 21, 2005 - Complementing its line of lift, support, damping and adjustment mechanisms, Suspa Inc. is introducing the Movotec® Corner Leg System. This set of components has been designed to allow height adjustment of a variety of light industrial machines including workbenches, conveyors and assembly equipment.
Ergonomic height adjustability has gained considerable attention in the last few years for increasing productivity by providing a means for employees to adjust a workstation or machine to their specific physical requirements. In addition, many employers have recognized the need for height adjustability when it comes to reducing workman compensation claims that are the result of repetitive strain injuries.
What makes a Movotec® Corner Leg System so unique is its patent pending design and ability to seamlessly integrate into aluminum structural profile framing used by many workbench and machine builders. Movotec® lift cylinders are integrated directly into aluminum structural profile framing material with a 10mm T-slot. This framing material is compatible with those produced by companies like 80/20, Bosch, Industrial Profile Systems, Item and others that are commonly used in manufacturing facilities to quickly and easily build a variety of equipment and fixtures.
Corner Leg Systems utilize the proven technology of SUSPA Movotec® hydraulic pumps and cylinders. Corner Leg Systems are offered in four-leg sets with motorized or hand crank versions. Maximum load capacity for a system of four legs is 750 lbs. (340 Kg) with adjustment ranges up to 12 inches (300mm).
