CeramTec North America (former Ceramaseal Div.) Introduces New Internal Infrared Heaters for use in Vacuum Systems

New Lebanon, NY, November 8, 2001 - Ceramaseal's latest product, Internal Infrared Heaters, are Infra Red (IR) lamps specially designed for the internal heating of vacuum systems. Ceramaseal's standard line of Infrared Heaters includes a 2,000- watt unit and a 6,400-watt unit. These Infrared Heaters and accessories are all high vacuum compatible. The Infrared Heaters are easily mounted inside the vacuum chamber. This allows for efficient heating of internal components that are removed from the chamber wall. The heaters are perfect for baking out a system or heating up a substrate.

Ceramaseal's Infrared Heaters feature quartz bulbs, which provide directional heating, quick release sockets for easy bulb removal, and a nickel reflector shield. The heater is powered by two quick connect in-vacuum bakeable cables (optional) and two 12KV baseplate feedthroughs (optional). There is also a quartz cover (optional) for coating applications.
