MENLO PARK, Calif (Oct 13, 2005) - Tyco Thermal Controls, the global leader in heattracing products and services, today announced the launch of its ISOPAD brand silicone heated jackets for cylindrical surface heating in North America. The ISOPAD brand offers a comprehensive line of silicone heated jackets that are custom manufactured to your heating application.
Isopad silicone heated jackets are rugged, moisture resistant, chemically resistant, can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -80°F to 392°F (-62°C up to 200°C). They are warm (not hot) to the touch (due to the thick-walled silicone rubber material) and have the ability to function within a wide range of power densities. Isopad silicone heated jackets can include a high temperature thermal cutout switch and your choice of temperature sensor with an RTD.
They can also include a PID auto-tuned electronic 48 DIN temperature control or a complete prewired mini-control panel with cord set for maintaining precise control when required. These jackets are typically of use for applications found within the food, beverage, filtration, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing industries.
