Heated Dispense Valve with Temperature Control
The Tridak Model 775H heated valve allows heavy, stringy, temperature-sensitive, or reactive materials to be dispensed with ease. The dispensing valve, which is a pneumatically operated spool valve, is supplied with a temperature controller and thermocoupler. This allows accurate heating of the material being dispensed from ambient up to 350°F. The 775H valve can accurately dispense volumes as little as 0.01 mL and can also provide continuous, adjustable flow.
This valve offers an adjustable and lockable suck-back control, as well as adjustable and lockable flow control, and can be supplied with special nozzles or manifolds as required. The suck-back feature of the 775H spool dispensing valve greatly increases accuracy and repeatability when dispensing materials. Having control over the amount of suck-back assures consistent, stringless dispensing of tackier materials, and prevents droplets from remaining on the dispense nozzle when using low-viscosity materials. The valve's other key feature, adjustable flow control, gives users the ability to have complete control over the amount of material dispensed. These features greatly increase the versatility, accuracy, and repeatability of this valve's dispense.
When heated, the valve can be used alone or as part of a complete heated system, including heated hose and reservoir. When used alone, the Model 775H valve lowers the viscosity of the material only at the point of dispense, but not throughout the entire system. This prolongs the useful life of heat-curable materials (epoxies) while still easing their dispensing.
