New Hush(TM) Heat Trap Fittings Provide Quiet Operation
Madison, OH - September 22, 2004 - Perfection Corporation introduces Hush(TM) Heat Trap Fittings featuring a newly designed ball which significantly reduces the possibility of "rattle" in water heaters. These new heat traps incorporate a thermoplastic ball with an elongated "tail". During the flow of water this tail is forced to the interior surface of the fitting, thereby reducing the possibility of noise or rattle. In noise tests, a decibel rating of approximately 55 dB remains virtually unchanged with water flow rates ranging from 1 GPM through 9 GPM.
