(Orange, Mass.) -- Each Thermal-Flo® heat transfer roll from PFE Rolls is engineered for the precise temperature control needed in converting and flexible packaging. Computerized heat transfer analysis is performed in-house at PFE to optimize roll design and performance. Single and double shell rolls, including corona treatment roll designs, are available for a wide range of applications. Double shell rolls can be engineered with either uniform or variable pitch internal spirals depending on the specific heat transfer requirements. Rolls are available with various surface coatings and coverings including chrome, ceramic and rubber covered. PFE can produce and refurbish heat transfer rolls up to 65 inches in diameter and 450 inches in length.
