Mokon Introduces Newly Redesigned HF-2 Series Heat Transfer Fluid System

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Mokon announces the availability of the newly redesigned HF-2 Series Heat Transfer Fluid System, updated with improved performance, energy efficiency and reduced space requirements for large flow and higher heating capacity applications. The system provides accurate temperature control up to 600°F.

The HF-2 Series features a 12 kW heater canister mounted in the traditional Mokon "horizontal forced fluid flow" design, proven in Mokon systems for over 50 years. This heater design, along with an all-welded construction, reduces internal piping and limits potential leak points. The system also features Mokon's unique "continuous flow" cool oil reservoir design to ensure accurate and safe process temperature control and cooling.

Mokon's HF-2 Series systems are available in single and dual zone configurations, pumping capacities of 40, 60, 90, and 120 gpm, and various heating capacities up to 144 kW.

With several safety features integrated into the HTF Systems, Mokon provides the highest level of protection in the industry. All Mokon HTF Systems are designed to meet and exceed NFPA 79 (National Fire Protection Association) electrical standards and include an auxiliary redundant heater contractor for over temperature safety and a UL labeled electrical sub-panel as standard

For over 50 years, Mokon has set the standard for high quality circulating liquid temperature control systems. Through the development of new products, refinement of existing designs, and our ability to create custom engineered solutions, Mokon has consistently demonstrated its ability to foresee the evolving needs of customers in plastic, die casting, food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, rubber, printing, and many more industries. The company's product line has grown significantly since it first introduced a water temperature control system in 1955 to include heat transfer fluid systems, portable and central chillers, pump tanks, cooling towers, blown film coolers, cold climate coolers, maintenance products, custom designed and engineered systems.
