A new line of heavy-duty polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing that functions as a strain relief and features a meltable adhesive to seal out moisture is being introduced by Nelco Products, Inc. of Pembroke, Massachusetts.
Nelco Heavy-Wall Polyolefin Heat Shrink Tubing features a thermoplastic sealant inside that is heat activated and creates an environmental seal against moisture, dirt, and corrosives. Designed for easy installation, it has a 3:1 shrink ratio to fit snugly over terminals and functions as a strain relief which can also be imprinted for identification.
Ideal for use on heavy equipment connections, battery terminals, and RV or marine applications, Nelco Heavy-Wall Polyolefin Heat Shrink Tubing comes in black and red colors; available in 10 expanded sizes from ¼" to 7" O.D. Self-extinguishing, UV-resistant, and suited for -55°C to +135°C service, it is UL486D listed and meets MIL-DTL-23053/15, Class 1 specifications.
