TRACER LYNX(TM) Heat Management System Software Provides Compatibility with 3D Files
REDWOOD CITY, CALIF. (June 4, 2008) - Tyco Thermal Controls, the global leader in
providing heat-tracing products, as well as engineering design and installation services, announces its 3D file compatible TRACER LYNX(TM) heat management system software.
The TRACER LYNX software interfaces with industry standard IDF and PCF files
allowing heat management system (HMS) designers to utilize the master model data from clients to create 3D modeled plant designs. TRACER LYNX is a fully-integrated solution designed to be employed throughout the entire life cycle of a project. Specialized functions have been developed to support many critical HMS project activities including scope definition, estimating, pipe sorting and grouping, heat tracing design, material procurement, construction planning, and field progress measurement. Leveraging the TRACER LYNX capabilities with a client's 3D model files, Tyco Thermal Controls helps clients relieve the time pressures that occur throughout the HMS engineer-procure-construct project cycle.

TRACER LYNX bases all of its activities on one database, fully integrating all of the features within the software.
