Newton Peripherals Debuts the MoGo Headset; Advanced Audio Quality, Thin Form Factor for Wireless Phone Users

Wireless headset receives "Most Imaginative Product" award from Andrew Seybold, noted industry observer

ORLANDO, Fla., March 28 /- CTIA Conference - Newton Peripherals, the developer of the revolutionary MoGo(TM) family of products, today introduced the MoGo Headset(TM), a first-of-its-kind wireless headset capable of delivering superior audio quality in an ultra-thin design for cellular telephony applications.

The MoGo Headset is designed to bring added capabilities to wireless phone users, without requiring them to carry the additional, bulky accessories usually needed with other headsets. The MoGo Headset is consistent with Newton Peripherals' focus on bringing a full range of products to market that benefit millions of mobile users who want performance without bulk, and who demand ease of use without complexity.

"Bluetooth has finally caught on and the MoGo Headset is the product to beat this year," said veteran industry observer Andrew Seybold, who presented Newton Peripherals with his "Most Imaginative Product" award last night at the 17th annual "Andrew Seybold Wireless Dinner", attended by 300 of the most influential executives in the wireless industry. "The Headset is unique in both design and concept. It will store conveniently on the back of a cell phone, ready to be used at a moment's notice. Newton Peripherals' approach to simplifying the use and storage of phone headsets is novel, and deserving of recognition."

The MoGo Headset features Bluetooth wireless capabilities in a unit less than five millimeters thick, easily enabling people to use it with all of today's most popular wireless telephones. With its built-in professional- quality, high-performance earpiece, the MoGo Headset lets users hear the full range of more natural audio, instead of the tinny sounds that people have come to expect (and dread) from mobile earpieces and headsets. Its built-in battery also supports up to six hours of continuous talk time between charges, giving users unprecedented freedom.

Meanwhile, Newton Peripherals said it has begun discussions with one of the world's largest manufacturers of wireless phones, to bundle the MoGo Headset with future phone offerings in an integrated unit that will enable users to use it, store it, charge it(SM) within the phone itself. The groundbreaking design will allow people to easily store the headset when it is not in use and recharge it along with their phones, without the need for additional cables and adapters.

"The MoGo Headset is consistent with our focus on making it easier for people to travel with and use their wireless telephones without the need to carry loads of stuff around," said Matt Westover, Newton Peripherals' President and Chief Executive Officer. "We believe that combining superior audio quality in a unified, condensed form factor will be a product that millions of cell phone users will appreciate as a real advantage."
