New CrystalVision Ultra Bulbs Closest to the Look of HID

Improved technology delivers even whiter color and brighter beam than their original

Farmington Hills, MI... Philips Automotive Lighting North America, a division of Royal Philips Electronics (NYSE:PHG), has introduced the new, improved technology Philips CrystalVision Ultra headlamp bulbs. The new, improved bulbs deliver even whiter color and brighter beam than the original CrystalVision bulbs.

According to Michael Scheiven, Director, Aftermarket Channel, "Tuners and high performance drivers love the bright white look of HID headlamps, and with a color temperature of up to 4,000ºK, no bulb was whiter than our CrystalVision. But now, Xenon gas-filled CrystalVision Ultra bulbs deliver an even whiter and brighter beam, making them that much closer to the look of HID. As an added touch, they feature a distinctive blue-capped to make them look sharp, even when they're off."

CrystalVision Ultra bulbs are DOT compliant and available for over 90% of all vehicles on the road today. Based on Philips' recommendation to always replace bulbs in pairs, CrystalVision Ultra headlamp bulbs are offered in two-bulb packages.

Philips Automotive Lighting, a world leader in automotive lighting technology and inventor of the Halogen bulb and Xenon HID lighting, produces a full range of DOT approved lighting for replacements and upgrades. Philips upgrade lighting also includes NightGuide, an advanced safety headlamp bulb that that projects specific colors of light into three distinct visual zones, X-treme Power, high performance lighting with an aggressive style, and MotoVision, a lighting breakthrough for all types of two-wheeled motor vehicles. Philips Automotive Lighting lines cover every type of application including headlighting, signaling, and interior lighting.
