VadaTech Announces the AMC350 Quad HDMI/DVI H.264 Encoder
VadaTech, a leading manufacturer of integrated systems, embedded boards, enabling software and application-ready platforms, announces the AMC350 Quad HDMI/DVI H.264 Encoder. This AdvancedMC (AMC) single-module design encodes full HD to H.264, MPEG-4 and H.263 with throughput up to 1920 x 1088 at 60 frames per second in a compact multi-channel unit. The MPEG4-SP encoder is compatible with the ISO/IEC 14496-2 specification.
Encoded data is available via a flexible choice of PCIe or GbE backplane routing. Images as small as 96 x 16 pixels (W x H) can be encoded, and the encoder rate control is designed for macro block-level rate control to frame-level rate control. The module is ideal for applications such as surveillance, broadcast, robotics, telemedicine and industrial imaging.
