Revolabs Unveils New Single and Dual Channel HD(TM) Wireless Microphone Solutions

Single and Dual Channel HD Wireless Microphone Solutions Provide Great Audio with No FCC Issues

ORLANDO, Fla., June 17 / / - Revolabs, the leading provider of wireless audio products for enhancing collaboration, today announced at InfoComm09 Booth #6321, the Single and Dual Channel versions of its state of the art HD-series of wireless microphones.

The most significant feature of the Executive HD line which has been carried over into the Dual and Single Channel versions is the high definition audio, 50 Hz to 20kHz, which allows the systems to pick up the entire human voice spectrum. The Revolabs HD(TM) Single and Dual Wireless Microphone Systems utilize the same Revolabs Designed for Speech (DFS20(TM)) technology, but in a much smaller form factor than the Executive HD Systems. The system also provides some audio processing EQ and mixing capability, eliminating the need for external DSP audio processing equipment in many cases. The new Single and Dual HD Systems use the same Revolabs HD Microphones which include Revolabs RF Armor(TM) technology as a standard feature and as a result, are impervious to GSM noise from cell phones, PDAs, etc. All of these features make the Single and Dual Channel HD Wireless Microphone Solutions ideal for video-conferencing, amplified voice and recording applications.

A large portion of the VHF/UHF spectrum will no longer be available to wireless microphones due to the FCC auction of those frequencies. Owners of existing wireless microphones are now forced to decide whether their equipment will still be useable, albeit with more audible interference, or must be replaced. All of Revolabs Wireless Microphones operate in the 1.92-1.93 gigahertz Unlicensed Personal Communication Services (UPCS) range, well away from the frequencies covered by the FCC's auction.

"We are very pleased to extend our newest high definition audio product, the Executive HD Wireless Microphone System, into a full product line which provides a wireless solution with great audio for every application," said Martin Bodley, Revolabs' CEO. "The new HD Single and Dual Channel Systems cost effectively fill a need for situations requiring only one or two microphones. And there are no FCC issues to consider, as all of our microphones operate in the 1.9 GHZ bandwidth."

Pricing and Availability

The Single and Dual Channel HD Systems will ship in August in the United States with international availability to follow soon thereafter. The Single Channel HD System retail price in the Americas is $395 plus the HD Wireless Microphone and the Dual Channel HD System is $595 MSRP plus two HD Wireless Microphones.
