Widescreen, 16:9, True HD 1080p, Touch Screen, 21.5 Inch Panel Computer Featuring NEMA 4 / NEMA 4X Construction And Sunlight Readable Display Technology Now Available From VarTech Systems
VarTech Systems Inc. continues to expand our extensive line of industrial grade panel pc computers with the release of the 21.5 inch industrial NEMA 4 (IP65) black powder coat and NEMA 4X (IP66) 316-stainless steel panel PCs. These panel PCs are capable of displaying a true 1080p hd resolution, and are available with several different touch screen technologies. This new Panel PC is designed for 24/7 operation, and can function at optimal operational temperatures of 0 to 45C all the way down to optional -20C. Powered by T5800 2.00 GHz 800MHz FSB Intel Dual Core Processor, the new widescreen panel pc utilizes the latest in processor technology with optional i3, i5 and i7 Intel Core series processors.
The flat panel display of the 21.5” industrial panel pc has a standard brightness of 300 nits with optional sunlight readable 1000 nit LED backlit panel. The daylight viewable, widescreen panel pcs are optically bonded for added shock and vibration protection and reduced solar reflectivity to one of our available touch screen technologies for increased outdoor viewing ability. Our “Armor Touch” Resistive touch screen features a durable outer layer which lends itself to implementations that will be exposed to extreme abuse and is far superior to standard resistive touch screen technology. Heavy duty Capacitive Touch Screens are also available for indoor applications. All sunlight readable models feature VarTech's proprietary Optical Stack Enhancement (OSE) which is a unique optical design that boosts efficiency of the backlight's light utilization and minimizes the surface reflection of ambient light.
Some optional features available on the 21.5 Inch panel pc include wifi, 2 x PCI or 1 x PCI Express x16, Canbus, MODbus, DVD drive and dual hard drives with up to 4TB internal storage. An external full-range dimmer control can also be added for 0 to 100 percent display illumination when more or less backlight intensity is needed; even all the way to true black. A 90-264V AC internal power supply is standard with 9-36VDC, optional.
