Aurora, IL-- Fluid Air announces the release of an innovative solution for the containment of hazardous APIs in research and development applications.
In cooperation with ILC-Dover, Fluid Air is able to provide custom-designed containment options for the GRANUMILL® Jr. size reduction system along with other R&D systems. The new flexible enclosure set-up allows for use in both containment and non-containment operations, eliminating the need to purchase a second machine solely for containment use.
The new enclosure is capable of meeting an Occupational Exposure Banding (OEB) 5 classification for the containment of high-potency compounds. This translates to an achievable containment level of 1.0 µg/m3 on a task basis, ensuring safe operation when working with potentially hazardous materials.
