Hayden Corp Purchases New Four Axis CNC Milling Machine

New CNC Mil Machine to increase tooling capabilities and turnaround time.

West Springfield, MA - Hayden Corp, a leading thermal spray coating and laser cladding company, has recently purchased and installed a new four-axis CNC milling machine.

Working in direct integration with SolidWorks 3D modeling software, the mill can create tooling designed directly from customer prints or solid models, ensuring coating dimensions and cutoffs are precisely within tight tolerances and customer specification requirements.

“Speed and efficiency are fundamental necessities for job shops like ours, and good tooling is essential to fast and efficient coating, said  Company  President  Dan Hayden. “Hayden Corporation has expanded our access to quick, precise, and durable tooling by investing in a new four axis CNC mill capable of generating masking and fixturing for volume production parts up to 40” in length. The accuracy and repeatability of the new CNC equipment also guarantees that when a fixture wears to its useable limit, a replacement is only a matter of a few keystrokes away,” Hayden stated.

“We will continue to invest in new equipment and technologies to remain a leader in thermal spray coating and laser cladding services,” Hayden said.
