ECOsine® Active - New Harmonic Filters with Germanischer Lloyd (GL)
The Schaffner Group further broadens its product offering of solutions for the improvement of power quality. The popular 100A and 120A active harmonic filters ECOsine® Active are now available for applications and projects where marine approvals are required.
Nowadays, it is crucial to use energy-efficient electrical consumers in oil and gas, marine and offshore applications, including such as variable speed drives for motor control. These modern technologies contribute significantly to the reduction of electrical energy consumption; however, as an unwanted byproduct of their operation they can negatively affect the power quality.
