FREMONT, Calif., -- Exar Corporation (Nasdaq: EXAR) today announced the latest generation of Exar's BitWackr for Windows and Linux, offering double the performance, scalability to over 250TB and improved resiliency. BitWackr 2.1 provides OEMs a developmental shortcut to incorporating data deduplication, compression and/or encryption features in their products that operate in-line with imperceptible performance impact.
