New Hardsurfacing Electrode for High Temperature Applications
Fort Loramie, OH –Select-Arc, Inc. has introduced a chromium carbide alloy electrode that can be utilized in hot wear applications up to 1,100oF.
SelectWear 60HC is a metal-to-earth wear welding wire that is designed to deposit an alloy composed of a high density of primary chromium carbides in an iron matrix. This cost efficient, hardsurfacing electrode for severe wear applications offers a deposit with high abrasion and moderate impact resistances that relieves itself by cross cracking.
Available in six diameters from .045” – 1/8”, SelectWear 60HC is used in such critical hardsurfacing applications as grinding/pulverizing rolls and table segments, wear plates, clad pipe, dredge pipe shells and related components and hammers.
