Overview
The Portable 40 GB USB 2.0 Hard Drive with Rapid Restore(TM) offers a complete image recovery solution for both ThinkPad® and ThinkCentre(TM)/NetVista(TM) users. Rapid Restore software helps protect against data loss in the event of a software or hardware failure by enabling recovery to a previously saved image. Also, this bootable drive allows straight-forward recovery of your system image and data.

The drive incorporates a USB 2.0 interface for high-speed data transfers, and also is backward compatible with USB 1.1 (at USB 1.1 transfer speeds). It offers a 40 GB capacity in a small size, lightweight, and completely portable device, without the need for an ac power adapter.

Driverless installation under Microsoft(TM) Windows® 2000 and XP makes this drive very easy to use, and facilitates file transfers between systems. Other usage models include:
