The 40kV micro x-ray tube and a Si-PIN detection system are powered by a rechargeable Lithium battery, making mobile analysis of Sulfur (S) to Uranium (U) possible. A removable high-definition PDA allows the user to direct software with simple touch-screen use and offers immediate review of results. For long-term storage and analysis the results are transferable to any computer using Bluetooth technology.
