AutoCrib Releases the MobileCrib Device

Santa Ana, CA - AutoCrib, Inc. today releases its latest generation MobileCrib, which is built on the popular and simple to use Windows Mobile® platform. This feature rich unit incorporates a high output laser scanner on the top and allows the user to perform the more common transactions on the go. The operator friendly size, shape and interface provide a great inducement to users to just grab it and get started. A user simply picks the unit up and touches the type of transaction they want to perform (i.e. Issue, Return, Locate, etc.). MobileCrib then prompts them for the next steps to complete the selected transaction.

AutoCrib's handheld MobileCrib gives tool room and stores attendants the ability to scan barcodes with the touch of a button and perform the most common transactions. "This device reads from and writes to the live AutoCrib database in real time. No delay means greater productivity and more accurate reporting," said Bruce Weaver, V.P. Sales and Marketing. MobileCrib's real-time read and writes from the AutoCrib database eliminates inventory errors due to interrupted synchronizations.
AutoCrib President, Steve Pixley also commented, "MobileCrib delivers a wireless, real time system that never needs to be synched. With an intuitive user interface, adoption by users is quick and painless." MobileCrib has the added bonus of being resistant to damage from dropping, due to its entire internal mechanisms float on shock absorbers.
