Original Press Release:

T&D RTR-500 the New Handheld Data Collector

The T&D RTR-500 Data Collector with graphical display is the newest and most compatible with all RTR 500 Series Data Loggers which include:

  • RTR-501 - Wireless Temperature Data Logger with Built-In Sensor
  • RTR-502 - Wireless Temperature Data Logger with External Sensor
  • RTR-503 - Wireless Temperature and Humidity Data Logger
  • RTR-574 - Wireless Temperature, Humidity and Light Data Logger

The RTR-500 Data Collector may be used to wirelessly configure, download or monitor these data loggers. It's ideal for large storage areas, warehouses or outdoor locations where it is impractical to have a USB or network data collector because of the distances involved. It allows the user to easily capture recorded data which can then be transferred and relayed to a PC. This data logger is programmed to be compatible with Microsoft OS Windows 7, Vista and/or XP in multiple languages. File outputs may include Common Data Files (*.trx) / Text File (CSV, etc.) (Select range of data or entire file for output.)

The RTR-500 Data Collector has become a product heavily relied upon for applications such as recording, monitoring and managing temperature and humidity in factories and buildings; blood and pharmaceutical storage in hospitals; as well as refrigerated and frozen goods in supermarkets and convenience stores. This highly effective data collector has also been utilized in developing, testing, manufacturing and selling of products for UV-Ray reduction. Art museums and other exhibit forums have come to rely on the RTR-500 Data Collector in management of luminosity to prevent deterioration of exhibits.

The RTR-500 Data Collector incorporates a larger, easier to read digital screen that includes a zoom function for convenient readability. Information downloads in half of the time, registers up to 224 loggers, stores 256k readings, and now repeater capable with RTR-500. The RTR-500 Data Collector is small in design but big on impact.
