Versatile Gabro Manual Metalworking Tools


A new economical box pan and general folder has been announced by Foremost Machinery, the Gabro Model SF600. Designed for both accurate prototypes and general folding work found in most every shop, the manual folder can be bench mounted or fitted to an optional stand. The SF600 has a capacity of 22 ga. mild steel across the maximum width of 23-5/8" or 18 ga. at nearly one foot.

Other heavier duty folders in the Gabro line consists of two floor models with a 4-foot capacity of up to 18 ga. mild steel. Features include the capability of interrupted or partial folds, and the ability to shape scrolls and cylinders.

Rounding out the Gabro hand tool line are two Guillotine Notchers with mild steel capacities to 11 and 14 ga. Unique feature eliminates material distortion caused by the scissors action by actually blanking out a thin strip of material leaving both sections free from sharp burrs, edges and distortion. The versatile Gabro Notchers are also effective for non-ferrous metals as well as hardboard, laminates and plastics.
