Jungheinrich Expands Its Line of Hand Pallet Trucks with the New AM 2200

RICHMOND, VA - The Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp., a world leader in warehouse logistics technology, is announcing the AM 2200 hand pallet truck, the ideal "storage aid" for all tasks involving manual transportation of goods over short distances.

This new warehousing work-horse, rated at an impressive maximum load capacity of 5500 lbs, will offer your operation many advantages, including a tiller handle that allows for effortless and safe maneuvering of the load by either right- or left-handed operators - even with just one hand on the tiller. And maneuverability in confined spaces is no problem with this new hand pallet truck, given its short head-length of only 14.7 inches.

What's more, the truck's optimally-designed hydraulic system will allow your operators to pump a pallet clear off the ground with only three strokes of the unit's differentiator mechanism, while just five strokes will take the load to the truck's maximum lift height of 4.8 inches. A fast-lift feature like this will save your operation time and money. A precision valve permits a gentle lowering and precise set-down of the load. One very useful ergonomic feature worth noting is an embossed marking indicating the exact safe pallet position for cross-wise pallet pick-up.

The push-pull motions of day-to-day use of the truck will be smooth, quiet and effortless, thanks to its ball-bearing wheels and Teflon-coated joints. The steering wheels feature an aluminum hub with bearing cap. These features mean the truck will be essentially maintenance free, with no need for lubrication. And you'll find the AM 2200 is robust, boasting strong hardened-steel forks with rounded tips, protected entry rollers, and a welded tiller mounting.

An extensive array of optional equipment will make this new hand pallet truck adapt to any application you may have. For example, additional available features include a range of fork lengths and fork-spacing widths, various braking systems -- even special paint. In addition, several load wheel materials are available to ensure optimal operation on any floor surfaces present in your facility. Also available are special versions of the truck's structural members, including trucks built with special steels or galvanized variants.
