Bud Expands Grabber Style Hand-Held Enclosure Line
CLEVELAND - October 20, 2005 - Bud Industries, Inc., the leading manufacturer of electronic enclosures, has announced the availability of a new style of Grabber hand-held plastic box. Bud's Grabber - Style C is the latest in the Grabber series of hand-held plastic boxes that are ideal for portable hand-held equipment.
The Grabber - Style C is constructed of durable self-extinguishing ABS plastic material with a UL94-HB flammability rating. Grabber - Style C comes with removable end panels, which allow modifications to be made with ease. The Grabber - Style C enclosure comes complete with top cover, bottom cover, opaque end panel, battery door, and assembly hardware. The top of the box is recessed, which is appropriate for a label or keypad.
The compact and ergonomically designed Grabber - Style C is available is two sizes; 5.31" long x 2.76" wide x 0.940" deep and 4.13" long x 2.95" wide x 1.04" deep. Both sizes are internally equipped with PCB mounting bosses and come in standard colors of either black or light gray.
The Grabber - Style C is equipped with the essential battery compartment, which is suitable for either (1) 9-volt or (2) AA batteries.
The Grabber - Style C hand-held plastic box is an ideal desktop or benchtop electronic enclosure for a number of different applications.
