Two Technologies, Inc. introduces the JETToce, a rugged hand held computer featuring Microsoft® Windows® CE. NET
HORSHAM, PENNSYLVANIA, USA, April 11, 2003-Two Technologies, an IS09001 registered company and leading manufacturer of rugged hand held/panel mount terminals and computers, is pleased to introduce the JETToce, the latest addition to its line of affordable computer products.
Designed for one-handed operation, the JETToce features a Microsoft® Windows® CE .NET operating system, an Intel® XScale(TM) Technology processor, sunlight readable display with optional touch screen technology, and a variety of interface capabilities. The standard 192x128 pixel monochrome Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is also available as an optional touch screen, giving you the ability to create GUI based applications for unlimited possibilities in user control. The standard display is sunlight readable with the option of LED backlight for easy viewing in high or low light conditions. An optional frontlit reflective QVGA-TFT color display is also available. The JETToce comes standard with 64MB of SDRAM and 16MB of built-in Compact Flash, which is expandable to 2GB. For removable data storage or I/O cards, the JETToce can be equipped with a Compact Flash (CF) slot. The JETToce features a variety of interface options. One RS-232 serial port is standard. For applications that require dual serial port capability, an optional second RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 serial port is available. The JETToce is available as a line- or battery-powered unit. The JETToce case is constructed of Cycolac® ABS, one of the most durable, chemical resistant materials available today.
The JETToce is an ideal solution to meet the complex and varied requirements of a wide range of applications where a rugged hand held computer is needed, such as: warehousing, transportation, field service, meter reading, time and attendance, emergency vehicles, machine control, and inventory control.
