Bosch 24-Volt Cordless Expands With Hammer Drill Heritage

New In-Line Hammer Drill Packs A Punch

Chicago - The Bosch cordless line continues its expansion with the addition of the new Bosch 12524-03 24-volt Cordless In-line Hammer Drill. Engineered with general contractors, electricians and HVAC professionals in mind, this new in-line hammer drill performs just as well in light concrete as in masonry or wood, has the durability to last on any job site, and an ergonomic design for overall comfort and efficiency.

Simple to use, any professional can appreciate one tool for multiple projects. The 12524-03 hammer drill boasts a dual mode selector with drill-only and hammer drill and a two-speed selector with high torque and high speed - 0-750 RPM and 0-2,000 RPM respectively. Additionally, the new 12524-03 hammer drill offers one of the highest BPM on the market, 0-32,000 BPM. With more impacts, general contractors working in masonry or concrete installing fasteners like tapcons find that they produce better results in less time and effort. And in high speed, electricians drill right through junction boxes with hole saws.

Hammer drills often experience some of the roughest work, because of their varied applications in wood, metal, masonry and light concrete. To assure the 12524-03 lasts, Bosch drew from its extensive hammer heritage and integrated the all-metal gearbox of a corded hammer dill with a Bosch-built motor. These two powerhouses created a durable tool to withstand the worst everyday abuse.

The 12524-03's in-line design offers different benefits to professionals working in vertical and horizontal applications. For drilling horizontally into harder material like masonry, cinder block or brick, the in-line design allows the user to apply the maximum amount of force on the drill bit, which means faster drilling. And for professionals that need to drill vertically, either in the floor or deck, the extra length makes jobs easier and safer with less reaching. Finally, the tool's soft grip handle provides extra comfort while a fully adjustable auxiliary handle with depth gauge offers better control.

In addition to an assortment of bits and other accessories for purchase separately, the Bosch 12524-03 24-volt Cordless In-line Hammer Drill comes standard with the following: 1 - 24-volt 2.4Amp high capacity NiCd Battery (BAT031) 1 - 1-hour charger (BC004) 1 - Carrying Bag (2610915986) 1 - Auxiliary handle with depth gauge
