Waldmann Lighting's Newest HSW-75 Watt Halogen Machine Light Offers More Light Output and Speedy Lamp Change for Minimizing Machinery Down Time
Wheeling, Ill-Worldwide task lighting manufacturer, Waldmann Lighting Company, unveils its newest oil and coolant-proof (IP-65 rated) large halogen work light, the HSW-75. The HSW provides 75-watts of high-powered light output, 40 percent more than standard halogen lights. Plus, a new method of lamp change allows the front of the luminaire head to screw off quickly and easily by incorporating a front ring with bayonet connection. This feature minimizes the expense of machinery downtime since the lamp change becomes speedy for the operator. The HSW-75, in addition to our complete line of halogen and fluorescent machine lights, will be shown at the International Machine Tool Show in Chicago on September 4-11. The HSW-75 features a convenient ON/OFF switch located at the top of the handle. This switch can be activated by hand quickly when lamp change is necessary. The luminaire's heavy-duty articulated arms can fit conveniently into compact workspaces yet still easily adjust to match machining requirements. A head-only (HSWK) version is also available for areas where arm "reach" is not necessary. The 120V version features a built-in transformer located in the handle. A 4-hole pattern base is also included.
The HSW-75 high-powered halogen lights are used most effectively for CNC machinery, conventional mills, lathes, and other metalworking machinery and machine tools. The lights are also ideal for packaging machinery and food processing equipment where coolant, oil, and other fluids are present. The "head-only" models are ideal for grinders, machining centers, CNC lathes, screw machines, turning centers, and packaging/processing machinery where space is limited.
