GE Lighting Introduces HIR XL(TM) Ultra Life PAR

What makes Halogen light bulbs unique? It's their bright, crisp white light and longer life than standard light bulbs. Now GE Lighting has taken its popular Halogen light bulbs and made them better by offering a full Ultra line and exclusive Ultra XL(TM) that each offer new, updated conventional designs and long life guarantees.

GE Lighting's Ultra XL(TM) floodlight (PAR light) lasts 6,000 hours, which is three times longer than a standard Halogen PAR, and has a limited guarantee to last for three years. With its extra long life, this floodlight is an ideal solution for virtually any household indoor or outdoor lighting application, and especially for hard to reach fixtures in the driveway, along walkways, patios and decks, or even in the kitchen and hallways. The Ultra XL provides excellent color and beam control and is available in three wattages -- 45, 55 and 90 -- as well as 12° and 40° beam spreads.

Providing an impressive two-year life limited guarantee (3,000 hours), GE Lighting's family of Halogen Ultra products, now in familiar incandescent shapes, offer a bright, crisp, white light and an updated, conventional design.

Halogen bulbs provide a small, highly effective white light source with excellent color rendering. Halogen bulbs use a halogen gas, which allows the bulb to illuminate more intensely without sacrificing life. Due to their exceptional light quality and long life, maintenance is minimized - making GE's Ultra products ideal for table lamps and surface mounted ceiling fixtures.

The Halogen Ultra family includes 60/75/90-watt frosted incandescent shapes, a 60-watt clear incandescent shape, a 45-watt globe for vanities and a 45-watt decorative lamp for a chandelier or post light fixture.
