APEM to Highlight TS Series at CONEXPO 2014



Threaded metal body shields against EMI, ESD



Vista, California — APEM Inc., a leading manufacturer of miniature and industrial switches, will showcase its TS Series Thumbstick at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, which takes place March 4-8, 2014 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, Booth #80844. The TS Series Thumbstick may now be specified with a black oxide coated brass threaded D-flat housing, making for simplified drop-in panel installation. 



The threaded metal body provides full EMC protection; including EMI, ESD, and is environmentally sealed up to IP69K. The new metal housing may be specified with a “T”, in the “Mounting Hardware” field of the TS Series’ “Option Selection” guide.  Mounting accessories for the new housing option include a stainless steel lock washer and hex-nut.



Further expanding upon the product line, the TS Series may now also be specified with a Molex 2.00mm (.079”) pitch connector in the bottom of the housing. Single output Thumbstick configurations feature a 5 position Molex 502443-0570 connector.  Dual output configurations feature an 8 position Molex 502443-0870 connector.



In addition to the TS Series, APEM will also highlight several other products at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, including: fingertip joysticks, toggle switches, LED indicators, thumbsticks, Rocker switches, I Series pushbuttons and emergency stop switches.
