The H&S Tool model Ti is a compact portable tube-machining tool. The Ti is the first and only prep tool with titanium gear housing and motor adapter components. Titanium has 5 times the strength-to-weight ratio of standard steel materials. This strength was required to produce a high-torque tool with a narrow 1.6" (40.6 mm) wide head. The narrow-head design makes the Ti work equally well in tight-clearance situations as it does in open higher volume ones. The power it produces enables the Ti to perform standard machining such as O.D. beveling, I.D. beveling and squaring with our standard resharpenable blades as well as our patent protected Multi-Prep cutters.
Multi-Prep is a unique family of cutters that bevel, clean the tube O.D. and remove membranes (tube panel applications) in one smooth, fast operation. Reliable pneumatic power adds overall low-cost operation to the high level of versatility it offers. The combination of strength, power and versatility created by this a dvanced tool delivers an impressive working range of ½" I.D. to 2-1/2" O. D. (12.7 to 63.5 mm)
