A line of conveyor guide rails featuring stainless steel sheath around UHMW to create a high-strength assembly that reduces gaps and simplifies cleaning is being introduced by SLIDEWAYS, Inc. of Worcester, Massachusetts.
SLIDEWAYS Conveyor Guide Rails feature a stainless steel sheath with a "C" design that is clamped and inserted into the UHMW to create a rail which is 20% stiffer than U-shaped side guides and fits tightly to eliminate gaps. Easy to wash down and clean, their smooth construction helps prevent the entrapment of particles and meets FDA and pharmaceutical requirements.
Fully compatible with commercially available clips and brackets, including adjustable and post & block styles, SLIDEWAYS Conveyor Guide Rails' positive insert design prevents them from separating and generally require fewer brackets. They can be used as guide rails or belt supports and OF/UHMW, low static UHMW, and custom profiles are available on request.
