About the Concessionaire
On February 6th, 2012, the consortium comprised of the companies Invepar (Investimentos e ParticipacoesemInfraestrutura S.A.) and ACSA (Airports Company South Africa) was announced as the winner of the bid that awarded the International Guarulhos Airport, the most important in Brazil, with a movement of approximately 32.8 million passengers in 2012. With the signature of the Awarding Contract, on June 14th, 2012, the Concessionaria do Aeroporto Internacional de Guarulhos S.A. was formed, with 51% of its shares belonging to Grupar (GrupoInvepar and ACSA) and 49% to Infraero. From the 51% belonging to the private initiative, Invepar owns 90% and ACSA, 10%.
