Ground Resistance Tester measures from 0.01-99,000 ohms.

Press Release Summary:

Designed to automatically seek out optimum measurement range test current and test frequency, digital Model 6470 performs grounding resistance, earth coupling measurement, soil resistivity, and bonding tests. Adjustable test frequency from 40-513 Hz provides rejection of high levels of interference. Up to 512 test results can be stored in internal memory for later recall to display or downloaded to PC for analysis and hard copy reports.

AEMC® Introduces Multi-function Digital Ground Resistance Testers

AEMC's NEW rugged, Digital Ground Resistance Tester Model 6470 performs grounding resistance, earth coupling measurement, soil resistivity and bonding tests. This direct reading tester measures from 0.01 to 99,000 ohms, and is auto-ranging, automatically seeking out the optimum measurement range test current and test frequency. The adjustable test frequency (either manual or automatic) from 40 to 513Hz test voltage provides rejection of high levels of interference, allowing it to be used under difficult conditions such as the presence of high stray currents that normally affect accuracy.

Easy-to-use and accurate - simply connect the leads, select the test mode, Press-to-Measure and read the results. Up to 512 test results can be stored in internal memory for later recall to the display or downloaded to a PC for analysis and hard copy reports with automatic fall of potential plots.

The Model 6470 over voltage protected to greater than 250Vac with spikes of 3000Vac or 1000Vdc against accidental connection to live circuits. The live voltage is also displayed on screen.

Additional features of the Model 6470 include: a heavy-duty field case sealed against dust and water when closed; user selectable Soil Resistivity test method (Wenner or Schlumberger) with direct reading soil resistivity and user selectable 2-Point or 4-Point Bond Resistance testing.

The Model 6470 is powered by NiMH rechargeable batteries. Testing while recharging is allowed. The Model 6470 can also be powered from a 12V vehicle battery.
Prices start at $2,250.00 several kits are available.
