Slaughter's model 2630, enhanced Ground Bond tester provides advanced technology at a cost effective price.

Lake Forest, Illinois, Oct. 2002 - Announced today by Slaughter Company, a leading manufacturer of hipot testers and other electrical safety testing equipment, is its new line of enhanced Ground Bond testers for safety agency testing requirements from such agencies as UL, TÃV, CSA, IEC, VDE, BSI and the European Norms. With prices starting at just $1,195, the 2630 is a price/performance breakthrough for the industry. The 2630 is a 30 amp ground bond tester that provides advanced features including a liquid crystal display, electronic ramp and dwell, test setup memories and advanced remote control. All of these features make the 2630 a safe and reliable instrument and simplify the user interface. The LCD will allow operators to view clear and accurate test results and set up parameters, electronic ramp and dwell will provide consistent and accurate timing, test setup memories will allow test parameters to be stored and recalled for ease of use, while the remote control provides an operator all the basic remotes required to configure the instrument through simple PLC relay control.

An additional feature of the 2630 is its interconnection capability to the 2900 series of enhanced Hipot testers. When interconnected to any of the 2900 series models the 2630 will perform the most commonly specified electrical safety tests including AC and DC Dielectric Withstand, Insulation Resistance, and Ground Bond with a single test activation and only one connection to the device under test.
